Terms and Conditions of Classes and Event PArticipation ...

Before you join one of our classes or take part in an event or activity with us, we would like to remind you of our terms and conditions. Please scroll down and read the following.

Safety is a priority for us, and our tutors are committed to good warm up practise,and suggest that you bring water, a towel and any medication including inhalers you may need to classes. Also a warm wrap, coat or fleece for when you leave class, you will be warm from dancing but will need to wrap up afterwards. Before taking part in vigorious activity, you should always consult your doctor, dance classes can be strenuous especially if you are not used to them. It is also vital that you inform the tutor of any relevant medical conditions which you control. If you have any previous injuries, weaknesses we would advise you to seek medical attention before you join the class.

We would ask you to wear appropriate footwear, clothing, no jewellery and to switch off your mobile phones and remove chewing gum. It is important that all students arrive promptly to class, for warm up.Tutors are not available to wait with students for pick ups or lifts after class and would ask you to arrange these prior to coming to class. Always let parents/guardians know where you are and the times of classes.

You will be asked to sign an agreement form like this before joining our classes or in the case of online enrolment tick a box which states that you have read and understood this agreement.

Agreement: I agree to assume all risks involved in taking part in the Belfast Talent School Classes and I acknowledge having read this liability release and that I am of full age and my acceptance of the above disclaimer clause by my signature. I am not currently using medication that could impair my judgment or balance.

Parent or Guardian should sign for minors.

The Belfast Talent School reserve the right to cancel classes or change times, if the situation arises. In the case of a course at the Crescent -with a class being cancelled a refund will be given to those who have arrived to attend that session. We would advise you to pick your class carefully as we operate a waiting list on classes and cannot offer refunds, should decide not to attend your course.

Top Class Tips: Wear Loose Clothing T-Shirt, Tracksuit,Dancewear & Trainers - no jeans. Bring Water & A Small Towel Remove all Jewellery, Gum, Switch off phones. Arrive on time & Make Sure you have made firm arrangements to be picked up if necessary. Wrap up after. Look After Yourself & Enjoy!

Coming to Class for the first time?

Please double check the timetable to make sure that you have got the right dates & times, and listen out for weekly announcements from the tutor as Venue details may change due to the fact that The Crescent Arts Centre is now being refrubished. See our top tips on the right hand side of this page, which will highlight the following - Please wear loose comfortable clothing, suitable footwear and clothing that does not restrict or hamper movement in any way. Chewing Gum, Jewellery, Watches etc. should be removed for obvious reasons. We would advise you to bring along a plastic bottle of water and a towel, and warm clothing to put on after class. The tutor will be doing their best to work on the variety of levels within the class, so don't feel nervous, as we have all had to start somewhere! We have no upper age limit on Classes and state 30+ to highlight this. It is vital that if you come along to our classes that you fill out an application form, even at the drop in class.
