Before you join one of our classes or take part in an event or activity with us we would like to remind you of our terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions apply to Belfast Talent School courses given to students who register and
for the consenting parents or guardians of children (referred to hereinafter as “students”).

1. SAFE PRACTISE & MEDICAL DISCLOSURE
Safety is a priority for us,

Before taking part in vigorious activity, you should always consult your doctor. Dance and Fitness classes can be strenuous especially if you are not used to them. If you have any previous injuries or weaknesses we would advise you to seek medical attention before you join the class.

It is also vital that you inform the tutor of any relevant medical conditions which you control. Students participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform Belfast Talent and its staff of any existing injuries or medical condition upon registration or discovery. It is vital students bring any medication needed including inhalers to classes.

Our tutors are committed to good warm up practise, it is important that all students arrive promptly to class, for warm up. It is suggested that students bring water, a towel and warm wrap for afterwards.

2. CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR
Appropriate footwear for dance trainers etc /clothing must be worn, no high heels and no jewellery in dance classes.

3. MOBILE PHONES/ PAGERS & CHEWING GUM
Students should remember to SWITCH OFF Mobile phones etc, and Chewing Gum is not permitted in class.

4. PICK UPS & LIFTS
Tutors are not available to wait with students for pick ups or lifts after class and cannot accomodate waiting students before or after sessions. We would ask parents and guardians to arrange these carefully prior to coming to class. Students should always let parents/guardians know where they are and the times of classes.

5.TUTOR/ TIMETABLE ALTERATIONS
The Belfast Talent School reserve the right to cancel classes or change times, or tutors if the situation should arise to do so. In the case of a course at the Crescent being cancelled a refund will be given to those who have paid.

6. ACCEPTANCE OF PLACES
A student's place will only be deemed to have been accepted if accompanied by the payment of the required course fees. Receipt of the application and any deposit or fees paid at the time of registration will be confirmed in an email along with all relevant course details.

7. FEES
We would advise you to pick your class carefully as we operate a waiting list on classes and cannot offer refunds. Should decide not to attend your course or if a situation arises that prevents you from attending we cannot offer a refund. PLEASE DO CHECK YOUR SCHEDULES AS ONCE FEES ARE PAID THEY CANNOT BE REFUNDED & YOUR PLACE IS BOOKED.

Methods of Payment:

Cheque
Cash - Do not send cash through the post.

Pay online via Crescent Arts Centre Website or at Reception

8. Belfast Talent reserves the right to exclude students from lessons at its discretion at any time.

9. Privacy Policy
Any personal information provided to Belfast Talent School will be "processed" (as such terms are defined in the Data Protection Act 1998) by Belfast Talent for the purposes of administration, research, the provision of training services in the performing arts, the organisation of performances, auditions and for the administration.

Belfast Talent will not disclose this information to third parties for marketing purposes. Belfast Talent itself may use this information to provide marketing information.

By submitting a Registration form to Belfast Talent you are deemed to consent to the use of such Personal Data for the above purposes.

10. Disclaimer Clause:
The Belfast Talent School and Tutor/s is/are not responsible for any injury, theft loss or damage suffered by any person or property whilst taking part in our classes.

Students are obliged to take care of their own belongings. Belfast Talent can accept no liability for lost or damaged belongings.

You will be asked to acknowledge that you have read this agreement by ticking a box online or signing your enrolment form before joining our classes:

Agreement: I agree to assume all risks involved in taking part in the Belfast Talent School Classes and I acknowledge having read this liability release and that I am of full age and in acceptance of the above disclaimer clause by my signature/ticked box. I or the person I am signing for (if parent or guardian) is not currently using medication that could impair my judgment or balance.

Parent or Guardian should sign for minors.
