Here at Belfast Talent School we meet people from all walks of life who are interested in getting involved in Acting Classes for a variety of reasons.
For some people it can be curiousity, a fun way of meeting new people and gaining more personal confidence, whilst others may be professional actors or teachers who want to keep sharp by attending regular class, or up and coming talent striving to pursue a career in the performing arts.

Whatever the reason you find yourself wanting to join a class we look forward to working with you at BTS, and hope the class descriptions will help you find a class you will enjoy. All Adult Acting Classes are open to male and female participants age 18 - 65+

Classes are available for all levels of ability including absolute beginners.

Adult classes are for those who are 18 to 65+ We are often contacted by people with little or no experience in Acting and people who are concerned about "being too old" for the class - classes are made up with a very wide age range and with people from all walks of life and everyone is very welcome.

There are separate Acting classes available for Children & Teenagers.

Actors Showcases & Class Showings

Sometimes classes work towards a showing this can be inter class or public performances. This gives Actors the opportunity to showcase their work and gain performance experience. These opportunities are open to those who have been in a previous BTS Acting Classes (sometimes Beginners classes do participate) or students who already have experience and are keen to perform work for an audience, sometimes all ability levels work together.The nature of the Showcase is always different and ranges from Scripted work to devised and improvisation pieces.

Actors Audition Technique Workshop
Designed to help with Audition Technique and build confidence. The class examines different audition scenarios, students look at voice-overs, commercials, scene-study, cold reading, monologues and improvisation. The class aims to give students insight into the audition process and help them prepare and develop relaxation skills to help enhance their audition experience. These skills are looked at in weekly classes - but specific Workshops are sometimes offered during term if there is a class demand.
